Gather and Arrange with Ochre Botanical Studios
Last weekend, I took a trip up to Preston Hall Estate, just outside of Edinburgh, and finally had the chance to meet with Ochre Botanical Studios for their ‘Gather & Arrange’ autumn workshop.
Marion and Sophie both led our group through the process, from harvesting in the garden, to a guided tutorial on arranging with seasonal flowers, and then the freedom to be creative with our own handmade vessels. It was a lovely opportunity to play with the last of the fresh flowers, and I went for a romantic, smoky palette, filled with changing foliage colours which I love, and inspired by the plethora of purple grapes dangling from the greenhouse ceiling.
